What is VeChain?

VeChain (VET) is an enterprise-grade Layer 1 smart contract platform, a blockchain network that is designed to enhance supply chain management and business processes across multiple global industries which demands real-time and trustless data sharing between many actors.

The platform uses two distinct native assets $VETย and $VTHOย to manage and create value based on its VeChainThor public blockchain. VET acts as the store of value and value transfer medium. Holding VET generates VTHO, which is used to pay for GAS costs associated to interactions on the VeChain network.

Dโ€™CENT Wallet now supportsย VET and VTHO, the native currencies on the VeChain network. Dโ€™CENT users can easily add VeChain account on both the Biometric Wallet and App Wallet to store, send & receive VET and VTHO assets.
