D’CENT wallet now supports Flare Network (FLR) account creation!

We are excited to announce our latest update on the D’CENT wallet which now supports Flare Network (FLR) account creation in the wallet.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Flare Network is currently operating in ‘observation mode’. During this period, access to and utilization of the network activities are limited to the Flare foundation and the FTSO providers + validators for testing the network to become fully decentralized.

After exiting the observation mode phase, the Token Distribution Event will take place between 24th October and 6th November, subject to the Flare network status achieving full decentralization and also the feedback from exchanges.

Main Updates

✅ Support for Flare Network (FLR) account creation.

Users can easily create a Flare account by searching for ‘FLR’ when adding a new account to the wallet.

✅ Support for Flare-based ERC20 tokens (marked FLR-ERC20)
Search for the name or symbol of the Flare-based ERC20 tokens to add the account which will be linked to the Flare mainnet account. For example, Wrapped Flare (WFLR).

✅ Flare network support in the Discovery tab (the DApp browser).
Users can select Flare network to use for accessing Dapps built on Flare Network for login/connecting to the service using a Flare account.
