How do I set up and use the D’CENT Biometric wallet?
When powering on your D’CENT Biometric Wallet you will get a very clear onboarding process. A 24 words(seed-phrase), also called a private key, will be randomly generated for you. It is crucial that you keep it safe and never share it with anyone.
You will be invited to download our D’CENT App in order to make your first actions such as purchasing new coins.
What happens if I lose my D’CENT Wallet?
Your funds are securely stored on the blockchain and can be reached through another D'CENT Wallet. As long as your confidential recovery phrase remains exclusively within your reach, you solely retain the ability to access, control, and reclaim your assets. Obtaining a new D'CENT Wallet is straightforward; you can easily restore your accounts utilizing your recovery phrase. With this simple process, you'll swiftly regain full control of your crypto assets.
Can I recover my funds if I lose my wallet?
Yes, your crypto and nft assets are not on the wallet but in the blockchain. The 24 words seed phrase is the key point to access your assets, that’s why you should never share it to anyone. Should you lose your current D’CENT Biometric Wallet, you can purchase a new one, during the set-up process use the “Recover wallet” feature and input the seed phrase to recover your funds.
Stay safe, no-one can login to your lost wallet as they are not aware of your PIN code nor can duplicate your fingerprint data.
