Today, DCENT steps forward with a new look.
The first thing you'll notice is the name. D'CENT is now DCENT. The apostrophe is gone — the smallest edit we could make on paper. To us, it closes an eight-year chapter and opens the next one.
Today, DCENT begins a new journey, eight years in the making. What started as a way to keep assets safe is becoming a unified digital asset platform — one designed to be with you through every moment of holding, using, and growing what's yours.
The day you move your first coin off an exchange. The first signature on an unfamiliar service. The moment you wonder what your idle assets could be doing. Whenever your assets move — and whenever your tomorrow changes — our new promise is to be more than safe storage: a partner that helps you step into what's next, at ease.
So why this change, and why now?
Eight years ago, we started by keeping things safe
In 2018, DCENT set out as the brand behind the world's first fingerprint-secured hardware wallet.
One conviction drove everything: what's yours should stay yours. Not parked on an exchange. Not subject to anyone's permission. Yours — in your hands, secured by your keys.
We spent eight years building on that conviction. The wallet that opens with nothing but your fingerprint grew to support 100+ blockchains and 10,000+ tokens. And across all eight years, DCENT has had zero security breaches.
Across that eight-year journey, we carried one promise:
Beyond Storage.
That promise comes down to two words. For eight years, we worked on the second one — making Storage unshakable. Eight years without a single hardware hack is what that looks like.
Now it's time to build the first word: Beyond.
So instead of adding something, we took something away
No more storing only. Now step into future finance.
A name that promises beyond couldn't stay fixed in place either. The wallet moves beyond storage. The name moves beyond its mark.
We removed the apostrophe for two reasons.
Nothing gets in the way anymore. Typing it, saying it, fitting it into a URL — that little mark created friction every time. Remove it, and the friction goes with it.
The name can hold more. An apostrophe pins a name to one reading. Take it out, and the name opens up. What we're building next is wider than what we built in 2018, and the name had to be wide enough to hold it.
In one line:
A simpler name for a bigger vision.
And as the name grows, so does the work. DCENT is expanding beyond the hardware wallet — into a unified digital asset platform. Keeping your assets safe is where that platform starts, not where it ends.
What the new DCENT looks like
When the promise changes, what you see should change with it. Here's the new face.
The name — five letters, nothing in the way
The new wordmark is DCENT, plain and unbroken. With nothing to trip over, it looks the same everywhere — in a search bar, on a device, out loud.
The color — lime on open space
Our new brand color is DCENT Lime.
We chose to use it sparingly. Most of the experience stays black and white — that's what ease looks like. Lime appears in exactly one kind of place: where your next move is.
Like a green light at a crossing — you've checked, now you can go. When you see lime in the new DCENT, that's where you act.
Where you'll see the new face
Starting today, the website, store, app, and social channels roll over to the new look, one by one. And DCENT X, launching today, is the first product created entirely under the new brand.

If the logo looks different in your app over the next few weeks, that's the update — not a bug.
⚠️ One thing to remember. If anyone tells you to "move your wallet because of the rebrand" or to "re-enter your recovery phrase," it isn't us. DCENT will never ask for your recovery phrase — for any reason, through any channel.
And on the same day: a new wallet
On the day the name changes, DCENT X arrives with it.
DCENT X takes on a familiar problem: approving what you can't clearly see.
It's the clearest answer we have to what the new name is for.

A company picks a name. The people who use it decide what it means.
For eight years, you chose DCENT, told us what wasn't working, and passed it on to people you trust. That's how we got here — and without those eight years, there would be no reason to change anything.
