Why is there “@” in front of the HECO account name on the Biometric Wallet?
A blockchain network that supports EVM (smart contract) has the same address for both the Coin account and the Token account. We find it unnecessary to list coin account and token accounts separately in the Biometric wallet since they have the same address.
Starting from firmware v.2.10.0, we decided to mark EVM compatible blockchain network with a symbol “@” in front of the wallet account name. HECO will be the first blockchain using this naming convention in D’CENT Wallet. In the future, we may decide to apply the same naming convention for the rest of the EVM compatible blockchain accounts.
What is HECO Chain?
HECO Chain is an EVM-based blockchain that uses HT as the native currency. HT is the Huobi token. HECO is using POS consensus with a maximum of 21 Validators. The level of decentralization is not as high as Ethereum, but HECO allows much faster and cheaper transactions.
