Transfer Tap That Drop NFT from D’CENT Wallet to Another Address

Transfer Tap That Drop NFT from D’CENT Wallet to Another Address

Tap That Drop Season 1 is almost over — thank you for joining this journey with us.

With the Mega Airdrop coming soon and the snapshot happening soon, we recommend checking where your Tap That Drop NFTs are currently held.

Since your Mega Airdrop share will be based on the Tap That Drop NFTs held in your D’CENT wallet address at the time of the snapshot, if you claimed Tap That Drop NFTs using different D’CENT wallets (e.g., an App Wallet and a Hardware Wallet, or two different D’CENT addresses), we recommend moving them into ONE wallet address before the snapshot.

⚠️ You are strongly recommended to transfer all your NFTs to a single wallet address before the Tap That Drop #12 Boba campaign ends.

Why you need MetaMask

You can view the Tap That Drop NFT in the D’CENT app, but NFT transfers are not supported inside D’CENT at the moment and it will be supported soon!

To merge your NFTs into one address, you’ll need to transfer the NFT using MetaMask as the sending interface.

Security reminder: Never share your recovery phrase. Only enter it into the official MetaMask app/extension.

What you will need (before you start)

  • The destination wallet address (the ONE wallet you want to consolidate into)
  • A small amount of ETH on Base in the sending wallet (gas fee)
  • MetaMask (mobile app or browser extension)

Step-by-step: Transfer using MetaMask

Example: transferring the Tap That Drop NFT from your D’CENT App Wallet to your D’CENT Hardware Wallet address (Base network).

1) Confirm you can access your App Wallet recovery phrase

In the D’CENT mobile app, you can find the App Wallet backup screen from:

  • the My Wallet tab, or
  • SettingsApp Wallet backup

Security reminder: Never share your recovery phrase with anyone, and only enter it into the official MetaMask app/extension.

2) Import the sending wallet into MetaMask

Method 1: Import using Secret Recovery Phrase

1. Install MetaMask (mobile app or browser extension).

2. Choose Import walletSecret Recovery Phrase.

3. Enter the recovery phrase from your D’CENT App Wallet.

4. Switch MetaMask to the Base network.

3) Send the Tap That Drop NFT to your destination address

    • 1. In MetaMask, open the NFTs tab, then make sure the network is set to Base.
    • 2. If you don’t see the NFT, tap Import NFT, then enter:
      1. • Network: Base
      2. • Contract Address: 0x076550e08CC494a00a430a23756c4d77c19B6198
      3. • ID: Enter the NFT ID (see the table below)

        • Tip:
You can also check the NFT ID by tapping the Tap That Drop NFT inside your D’CENT Wallet app.
    • 3. After importing, you should see “NFT was successfully added!”
    • 4. Select the NFT → tap Send.
    • 5. Paste your destination wallet address (e.g., the Base address of your Hardware Wallet).
    • 6. Confirm and pay the gas fee (ETH on Base).

4) Verify the transfer

  • 1. Check the transaction status in MetaMask.
  • 2. Then check the NFT in your destination D’CENT wallet.

Important notes

  • NFT transfers require gas (ETH on Base). If the transaction fails, the most common reason is insufficient gas.
  • Transfers are irreversible. Double-check the recipient address and network before confirming.
  • D’CENT support will never ask for your recovery phrase.
