Unlock the Power of Cold Staking: Stake ASTR on Astar Portal with D'CENT
This comprehensive guide empowers you to stake ASTR tokens on Astar Portal using your D'CENT Biometric Wallet, regardless of your preferred wallet type (Astar Native or Astar EVM). The process remains nearly identical, with a minor difference in network selection during connection.
Part 1: Connecting Your Astar Wallet (D'CENT) to Astar Portal
1) Authenticate to unlock the D'CENT Biometric Wallet and connect it to the D'CENT App on your phone.
2) Within the D'CENT App, navigate to the "Discovery" tab, your built-in dApp browser.
3) Click the "globe" icon in the top-right corner to set the preferred network to use.
4) Select the preferred Astar Network to use:
💠For Astar Native wallet: Choose "Astar (Native)" as the network.
💠For Astar EVM wallet: Choose "Astar (EVM)" as the network.
5) Astar Portal can be accessed in the following methods:
💠For iOS Users:
In the search bar at the top, type the URL (https://portal.astar.network) to access the Astar Portal. For a fast access next time, use the “bookmark” function to save the site as a quick link on the Discovery tab.
💠For Android Users:
Simply click the Astar Portal logo displayed on the Discovery tab page.
6) On Astar Portal, click the "Wallet" menu.
7) Select "D'CENT Wallet" under the appropriate category (EVM Wallets or Native Wallets).
8) When a connection request pop-up appears, click "Yes, I want."
9) Back on Astar Portal, click "Connect".
10) Choose your "ASTR wallet" created on the D'CENT Wallet and click "Connect" to finalize.
11) Your ASTR wallet is now connected to the Astar Portal.
Part 2: Stake ASTR Tokens to D'CENT dApp on Astar Portal
Important Note: This guide assumes you've already connected your Astar wallet (D'CENT) as described in Part 1.
1) Locate the ellipsis menu (three dots) on Astar Portal (top-right) and click it.
2) Select "Staking".
3) Click the "Start Staking Now" button.
4) Click the "Vote for Project" button.
5) In the search bar, type "Wallet" as the keyword to find the D'CENT dApp.
6) Choose "D'CENT Wallet" from the search results.
7) Enter the desired amount of ASTR tokens you wish to stake (minimum 500 ASTR).
8) Click "Confirm" after entering the staking amount.
9) A confirmation pop-up with transaction details will appear on your D'CENT App. Review carefully and click "OK" to proceed.
10) The D'CENT Biometric Wallet displays the full transaction details for your review. Carefully review the details and click "OK" on the hardware wallet if everything is correct.
11) A key benefit of D'CENT is its clear-signing feature. This transparency allows you verification of everything before signing.
12) Finally, use your fingerprint to sign the transaction on the D'CENT Biometric Wallet.
13) Congratulations! You've successfully staked your ASTR tokens to the D'CENT dApp on Astar Portal.
14) You can monitor your staking status and accumulated rewards on the Astar Portal "Staking" tab. Rewards can be claimed at any time.
