D’CENT Wallet is now integrated with Rootstock network's RIF Name Service (RNS)
We are pleased to announce the RIF Name Service (RNS) is now integrated in D’CENT Wallet to add multi-coin address support.
This means you will be able to send and receive not only smart-bitcoin(RBTC) but also bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency with the name “yourdomain.rsk”.
In other words, you are able to use a RNS domain name to send and receive any arbitrary cryptocurrency — such as smart-bitcoin(RBTC), Bitcoin(BTC), Litecoin, Ethereum, Stellar Lumens, XRP, Zcash, and many more — rather than using the standard hex format address.
RNS operates on the RSK(Rootstock) sidechain and it isn’t just a naming service only for smart-bitcoin(RBTC), it’s a naming service that supports things like IPFS hashes and DNS records too. RIF Name Service (RNS) enables the use of human-readable names for blockchain addresses helping users to receive transactions in personalized domains. RNS domains are seamlessly integrated across RIF Services (Payments, Storage, Communications).
